The Dutch social security system is so complex that for many it is impossible to navigate. The childcare benefits scandal painfully showed what happens when complexity and bureaucracy work against people instead of supporting them. Researchers at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences are now exploring how AI can be used for good, to create the opposite outcome and help build a system that actually works for those who need it.

A picture speaks more than a thousand words and an animation speaks a million. Animation can create accessibility in the delivery of important but sometimes ‘boring’ topics that still have a high social impact. To have the important message have a deeper impact we created an animation that accompanies an important socio-political message surrounding access.
